History of the Connecticut State Women's Amateur
The Connecticut State Women’s Amateur Championship, which celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2015, has a rich history of exciting, competitive play. Betty Boyko, the President of the first CT State Women’s Amateur held in 1966 and a pioneer and champion of women’s golf in Connecticut, was inducted into the Connecticut Golf Hall of Fame in 2014.
The Championship will be held July 17- 19, 2017 at Manchester Country Club and spectators are welcome!
- Any female amateur golfer who is a bona fide member of a CSGA Member Club at the time of entry, has a certified USGA Handicap Index of 15.4 or less, and meets the specific eligibility criteria for the tournament.
- An applicant who is a bona fide member of a club who has withdrawn membership from the CSGA and takes a second membership in a CSGA Member Club to circumvent the above eligibility criteria will remain ineligible.
ENTRIES: Entries open February 1st and must be received by July 5th, 2017.

The 2016 Connecticut State Women's Amateur Championship will be held at Manchester Country Club for the third time in tournament history (1967 and 1987).
Schedule of Events: 54 hole stroke play. All players will play 18 holes on Monday, July 17th, Tuesday, July 18th and 18-holes on Wednesday, July 19th. Prizes will be awarded for overall champion and each age category (junior, senior, super-senior).
The Champion will be determined by the low 54-hole score. In the event of a tie, a hole-by-hole playoff will begin immediately following conclusion of all rounds.
